Lache Seastrunk is a confident young man. He knows where his strengths and weaknesses lie. He's intent on improving. "I want my coach to know that no matter what I'm going to go through, rain, sleet or hail, I'm going to do everything that I can to play". Well here are five things I want you to know about Lache Seastrunk.

#1. Lache originally committed to Oregon for his freshman year in 2010. He redshirted and was a member of the travel squad. He transferred to Baylor in August of 2011 and lost a year of eligibility as a result.

#2. He is the first player in Baylor history to rush for over 1,000 yards in multiple seasons.

#3. Lache recorded the best vertical jump (41 1/2 inches) and broad jump (11-2) of any running back at the 2014 NFL Combine.

#4. According to his mother, Evelyn,  Lache's name means "strong, like a lock". He has a sister named Scy (pronounced Sky), which means "miracle", again, according to mom.

#5. Lache's nickname (possibly self-anointed) in both middle and high schools was Flash. He even had T-shirts with a lightning bolt emblazoned on the chest. He told the Dallas news that he liked the Flash nickname because "I feel like I'm the fastest player in the country. It's only fitting."

Bottom Line: Lache is determined to be a running back in the NFL. He's a hard worker and willing to make whatever sacrifice needed to make the roster. With so many running backs gunning for the remaining slots, it will be a tough battle, but one that he has a shot at winning.

Here's a video of Lache's Combine workout.
