U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!

Thanks to my years of training as a Redskins fan, I arrived at the bar...ahem...earlier than most.

I hate...HATE...losing to Germany. I forced an entire two-hour episode of The History Channel's "The World Wars" on my wife last night in preparation for the match against Germany. Suffice to say...we were ready.

Before I turn it over to my fellow fans, let me just say that this is NOT backing in. Our group was insanely difficult. This group earned the title of "Group of Death" and the two teams getting through were the best two teams in the group.  The manner in which we advanced should be a source of pride to all American fans.

To my Ghanaian brothers: I would have rather advanced with you. I look forward to seeing the growth of your program and I PRAY we are not in your group in 2018!
