The District Podcast - Episode 2

Mike Harar, Marc Shea and Chris LeSage are back with their latest podcast discussing the Redskins name debate, minicamp news, and whether or not the Redskins may already be disappointed with newly acquired wide receiver DeSean Jackson.

Kevin C. Cox

Last night, The District was back streaming live and had special guests Ken Meringolo, former Redskins' cornerback Fred Smoot, and ESPN 980 Redskins' beat reporter Chris Russell on to discuss all things Redskins.  There was no shortage of items to talk about, including Ken's take on the Redskins' name debate and what Fred Smoot would do if he was the team's owner.  Also, Chris Russell gave us his top under-the-radar performers through the team's three minicamps this offseason and gave us some insight on how DeSean Jackson is fitting in with his new team.

Since it is The District and all DC sports are usually on the docket, we also talked about the Washington Nationals' inability to get over the hump thus far against the Atlanta Braves, and debated whether or not Lebron James to the Wizards could ever be a possibility.

Give it a listen and enjoy!
