Vinny Cerrato appeared on the radio with Grant Paulsen and Danny Rouhier today discussing some of the past drafts of the Washington Redskins. Below are some of the highlights:
Here is the segment with Vinny Cerrato from earlier today on @granthpaulsen & @funnydanny if you missed it: http://t.co/lU2qNVYcG9

Vinny Cerrato on #GrantAndDanny, talking past picks: "[I] regretted? Probably Carlos Rogers. Just because he didn't catch well." #Redskins
— Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) May 6, 2014
Vinny Cerrato on the Devin Thomas & Malcolm Kelly picks: "Umm. There's a lot of other stories that go with those picks. I'm fine with that."

Cerrato said the #Redskins never got close to trading up for Mark Sanchez because they couldn't offer 1st following year. Called Jets, tho.

Best bullet from that interview: Vinny would have gone up to get Sanchez if Snyder gave permission to deal '10 1st rounder (Trent Williams).

Vinny Cerrato says he had a deal in place to draft LeSean McCoy but that RB's coach Stump Mitchell vetoed it. #Redskins

Cerrato on Sean Taylor over Kellen Winslow: "Joe was in love w/ TE's. Joe got all the scouts in the room." Made decision day before draft.

Love it or hate it, Vinny Cerrato will probably haunt us forever. Regardless of his poor decisions, it's still entertaining to hear some of his thoughts on why he did what he did. Wish I could have got a question or two through for the interview. What would you have asked him about past drafts?
