NFL Set To Reinstate Tanard Jackson Tuesday

Redskins safety Tanard Jackson's indefinite suspension is reportedly set to be lifted by the NFL on Tuesday.

Tanard Jackson has never played a regular season snap for the Redskins, but there has been a lot of interest in his career over the last two years.  Jackson played in the preseason for the Redskins two years ago, before he was suspended indefinitely by the NFL for violating the league's Substance Abuse Policy.  The Redskins still retain his rights, and the 1 year, $700k contract that hew was signed to will be in effect for this season.  This gives the Redskins the chance to evaluate if he can contribute this season, or cut him without any consequences.
