Daniel McCullers
Defensive Tackle
Height: 6’7"
Weight: 352 lbs
Bench Press: 27 reps
Tennessee
Strengths: McCullers is absolutely massive and carries his weight very well. He is excellent in the run game and drew double teams in college. Very strong and has the capacity to blow blockers back.
Weaknesses: Is a two –down player who has no pass rushing ability other than a bull rush. With his height, can start standing up rather than staying low. Conditioning is always an issue with guys this size, and will likely need to be rotated in and out regularly.
Bottom Line: McCullers is a prototypical 3-4 nose tackle, and someone will reach for him. You can’t coach size and strength and he has those qualities in spades. There is always a team willing to take a risk on these types of talent.
Projected Round: 2nd to 4th
Team he fits best on: Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots
