Redskins Officially Sign 10 UDFAs To The Roster[UPDATED]

The Redskins have finally announced the players they reportedly agreed to terms with after the draft.

We have been keeping track of all the reported undrafted free agent signings and tryouts since the draft has ended, and now the Redskins have officially signed some of those players.  The team signed four Wide Receivers, 2 NTs, 1 RB, 1 TE, and 1 DB today.  The most notable signings are 6'4", 223 lb WR Cody Hoffman from BYU, RB Silas Redd from USC, and NT Robert Thomas from Arkansas who dropped out of the draft after breaking his leg last season.

We tracked 36 players who were either offered contracts or tryouts for this weekends rookie mini-camp.  That leaves 27 players who were either erroneously reported or were only offered a tryout.  The Redskins cut two players this week, WR David Gettis and K/P Jake Rogers.  This means that the Redskins now have 89 players signed and should have 1 open roster spot to fill for the maximum of 90 players in the offseason.

[UPDATE: 5/15/2014 2:50PM] The team officially announced their undrafted free agent signings today, adding former Notre Dame QB Tommy Rees to the list.  The Redskins now have their full 90 man roster filled, and will be holding rookie mini-camp tomorrow.
