Bashaud Breeland
Cornerback
Height: 5' 11", Weight: 197 lbs
Clemson
Strengths: Breeland is a disciplined and talented cornerback. He is a good size for the position and his athleticism increases his value. He is aggressive with excellent ball skills. He feels the ball is his and receivers need to take it away from him. He does very well with run support and is fluid when changing directions. Breeland is very quick and has been used a lot on special teams at Clemson. He finished the 2013 season with 74 tackles, five tackles for loss, 17 passes defended, and four interceptions.
Weaknesses: Although he does well with run support, there is room for improvement. He does not play up to his physical strength. He must improve his ability to shed blocks. He also must improve his route recognition. Breeland's tackling in space also needs work. He is quick but not fast and can be beaten downfield. This leads to his tendency to be grabby downfield.
Bottom Line: Bashaud Breeland .
Projected Round: 2-3
Team He Fits Best On: Redskins, Buccaneers, Titans
