Corey Linsley

Center

Height: 6’3"

Weight: 296 lbs

225 Bench Press: 36 reps

Ohio State

Strengths: Linsley was one of the key members of the recently dominant offense. He is very strong and is near impossible to move from his spot. He has good short distance quickness and always plays through the whistle. Adept at making the protection calls, and identifying blitzing backers.

Weaknesses: Linsley can get overaggressive and end up lunging instead of keeping his balance. He also has some issue continuing blocks at the second level; linebackers are able to shed him quickly. Also has short arms and has probably tapped out his athletic potential.

Bottom Line: Linsley is very much a utility lineman at the pro level. He has enough talent to keep him around, but don’t expect him to be making any impact early.

Projected Round: 5th to 7th

Team he fits best on: New Orleans Saints, Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots
