ESPN's John Keim is reporting that the Redskins will host Boise State OLB Demarcus Lawrence sometime next week. He joins other defenders at the position as the Redskins continue to do their homework on potential players to groom behind Ryan Kerrigan and Brian Orakpo. OLB is definitely a position to keep an eye on in this year's draft.
Lawrence has played the last two seasons at Boise State after transferring from a community college. Last season he had 72 tackles, 20.5 TFLs, 10.5 sacks, 1 pass defended, and 3 forced fumbles. He is projected as a mid 2nd round prospect, and is currently the #48 overall prospect according to CBS Sports.
Boise State DE/OLB Demarcus Lawrence will visit the #Redskins on Tuesday.

COMPARES TO: Jason Babin, Jacksonville Jaguars - Like Babin, Lawrence projects nicely as a LEO defensive end due to his burst, length, tenacity and surprising strength. Impressive collegiate production is mitigated by the level of competition faced, as well as size limitations.
