Gabe Ikard

Center/Guard

Height: 6’4"

Weight: 304

Bench Press: 22 reps

40 Yard Dash: 5.13 seconds

Oklahoma

Strengths: Gabe Ikard started 50 games for an at times dominant Oklahoma. He is an excellent leader and knows how to make the necessary calls. Ikard is technically proficient and has decent quickness.

Weaknesses: Ikard is not a superstar athlete, and doesn’t have the raw strength of some of the other prospects. He doesn’t drive defenders off the ball, and can be over powered by the large defensive tackles that he will face in the NFL.

Bottom Line: Ikard doesn’t have the ideal physical traits, but his intelligence and attitude will make him attractive to coaches. He is a developmental prospect, but coaches tend like smart, versatile players in backup positions.

Projected Round: 5th to 6th

Team he fits best on: New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens
