Josh Huff
Wide Receiver
Height: 5’11" Weight: 205 lbs
Oregon
Strengths: Huff has a lot of traits that teams love: vertical speed, quickness, good hands, muscular frame, and toughness. He really stepped up his game in his senior year with the Ducks when he had 62 catches for 1,140 yards and 12 touchdowns. At Oregon, he could beat you deep or over the middle and was effective in the return game as well.
Weaknesses: Aside from being under six feet tall, focus seems to be his Achilles heel. Whether it’s his route running or looking the ball into his hands, he tends to have lapses in concentration that have hurt his draft stock.
Bottom Line: You can include him in a list of players that can help themselves significantly by running a great 40 yard dash and showing well at the combine. In college, he had flashes of greatness followed by problems with coming out of breaks or dropping the easy the catch. He has the physical tools to be a dynamic player in the NFL if he can fix the mental mistakes.
Projected Round: 3-4
Team He Fits Best On: Seahawks, Redskins, Broncos, Giants
