Gene Sweeney Jr.

Jemea Thomas

Free Safety

Height: 5' 9", Weight: 192 lbs

Georgia Tech

Strengths: Thomas is a very physical safety. He is fast and he is strong. He has good closing speed, takes good angles, and plays aggressively. He puts his body on the line on every play. His style and attitude have earned the respect of his teammates at Georgia Tech. He also has experience as a punt returner.

Weaknesses: Thomas' biggest weakness is his small size. Critics have also questioned his durability because of his aggressive style of play. His is mismatched when facing tight ends and large receivers. His hands are not reliable.

Bottom Line: Jemea Thomas has all the attributes to be a leader. His size could be an issue at the next level, however.
