Washington Redskins Draft Profiles: Arthur Lynch, TE

Hogs Haven takes a look at NFL prospects heading into the 2014 draft

Scott Cunningham

Arthur Lynch

Tight End

Height: 6' 5", Weight: 258 lbs

Georgia

Strengths: Lynch is a very good blocker and a reliable receiver. He is more of a traditional tight end, focusing on his blocks first, receiving second. His pass catching abilities really shine on short routes. He has a reputation as being a great teammate and a very hard worker.

Weaknesses: Lynch is not fast. His productivity after the catch is almost non-existent. He is one of the older rookies, entering the draft at the ripe old age of 24. His vertical leap is not very high, which limits him as a receiver

Bottom Line: Arthur Lynch is a great pick for a team that needs a blocking tight end. His value is less for a team looking for the hybrid-type of tight end.

Projected Round: 4

Team He Fits Best On: Buccaneers, Packers, Bills
