Washington Redskins Draft Profiles: Chris Watt, OG

Hogs Haven takes a look at prospects in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Chris Watt

Offensive Guard

Height: 6’3"

Weight: 310

Notre Dame

Strengths: Watt is a nasty player whose strengths lie in the run game. He has quick feet and plays until the whistle blows. Has enough strength to finish blocks. Graduated early from Notre Dame and is considered to have a blue-collar work ethic.

Weaknesses: Watt sometimes has trouble engaging defenders, allowing them to slide off of him. Needs to work on coming out of his stance, can be a bit behind and that would hurt him horribly in the NFL.

Bottom Line: Watt is a sound prospect who has the technical skill to someday start in the NFL. Watt is considered relatively low risk for a late-round draft pick, having a lot of experience from his days at Notre Dame.

Projected Round: 4th to 5th

Teams he fits best on: Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets
