Washington Redskins Draft Profile: Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE

Hogs Haven takes a look at NFL prospects heading into the 2014 draft

Otto Greule Jr

Austin Seferian-Jenkins

Tight End

Height: 6'6", Weight: 276

University of Washington

Strengths: Seferian-Jenkins is tall. Very tall. He played basketball at the University of Washington during his freshman year. His size makes him a mismatch for defenders. He is incredibly athletic, quick off the line, and has great hands.

Weaknesses: He does not have great straight line, downfield speed. For such a big target, he does not take advantage of his power. His blocking also needs some improvement. Almost all of his numbers were lower last year than his previous seasons at UW.

Bottom Line: Austin Seferian-Jenkins has the size, hands, and raw talent to be dominant in the NFL.

Projected Round: 2

Team He Fits Best On: Chiefs or Packers
