Washington Redskins coach Jay Gruden said he’s hopeful that receiver DeSean Jackson will return this week, after missing Sunday’s loss to St. Louis with a fibula contusion. Gruden said he hopes Jackson can return to full strength by Thursday or Friday. If that happens, then Gruden would expect Jackson to play Sunday at the New York Giants.
