Bruce Allen's Redskins Motto: Winning Off the Field Since 1999

Washington Redskins Team President/GM Bruce Allen held a 41+ minute Q&A session with local and national reporters today that gave the world a glimpse into the inner workings of the Redskins organization.  Bruce said so much in those 41 minutes that by the end, we all had information overload.  Bruce dropped some inside scouting information(Phones is Hawaii that can relay scouting information back to Redskins Park!), coaching strategy(wing-punt formation!), and he told us just how committed he was to this organization(He would mow the lawn every darn Tuesday!)

Reporters questioned the continued team losses, being in the basement of the NFC East for 4 out of his 5 years as GM, and what they are doing right as an organization.  That's when Bruce dropped this nugget, exposing the core of the Redskins organization's philosophy, "We’re winning off the field, but we’ve got to start winning on the field."
