Redskins Sign Eight Players to Futures Contracts

Eight players who have spent time on the Redskins practice squad this season have been signed to futures contracts

The Redskins announced the signing of 8 players from the practice squad to futures contracts the day after the regular season ended.  All 8 players ended the season on the Redskins practice squadand the two other players who were signed(OC Tevita Stevens and RB Michael Hill) were given futures contracts.

The Redskins also have two young, unsigned players who ended their season early on injured reserve in CB Courtney Bridget, Jr, and Jerry Rice, Jr.  Both will likely be brought back next season during workouts to see if they have a place on the 90 man roster this offseason.

By signing the 8 players from the practice squad to futures contracts, the Redskins retain their rights through the offseason.
