There were two spots that needed to be finalized today, the 4th place finishers from the NFC West(home) and the 4th place finisher from the NFC North(away). Now that the regular season is wrapped up we know the Washington Redskins 2015 opponents.
The Redskins will of course play 3 home and 3 away games against NFC East opponents. Next year they also face the NFC South, and the AFC East. The Vikings guaranteed that the Redskins will travel to Chicago next season to potentially face a new head coach(Mike Shanahan maybe?) by defeating their division rival today. The 49ers were able to beat the Cardinals yesterday, while the Rams were defeated by the division winning Seattle Seahawks to lock in a rematch with the Rams this season. Jeff Fisher and the 6-10 Rams are already plotting new ways to remind Washington about the RG3 trade next year.
