NFL Fantasy Football: Start 'Em/Sit 'Em - Week 13

Week 13 NFL match-ups and how they'll affect your fantasy football team.

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

I'm sorry to report that I don't have time to make my normal, thorough "Start 'Em/Sit 'Em" article this week as I normally do, but I still wanted to put up something so we'd still have a forum for fantasy advice with a big week looming.  I'll still recommend some players and give my two cents in the comments section as time allows.

Just to continue letting you all know how I'm doing in my personal leagues, I had a down week last week.  Very down.  0-3 down.  I'm not at 8-4, 7-5, and 8-4 (23-13 combined).  My rankings are: 2/10, 6/12, and *3/14 (* = clinched playoff spot).

For this Thanksgiving week 13 slate, here's a few "starts" and "sits":

Quarterbacks

Start 'Em

Sit 'Em

Running Backs

Start 'Em

Sit 'Em

Wide Receivers

Start 'Em

  • Denard Robinson, JAX (vs New York Giants)
  • Mike Evans, TB (vs Cincinnati Bengals)
  • Julian Edelman, NE (@ Green Bay Packers)

Sit 'Em

  • Michael Crabtree, SF (vs Seattle Seahawks)
  • Reuben Randle, NYG (@ Jacksonville Jaguars)
  • Eric Decker, NYJ (vs Miami Dolphins)

Tight Ends

Start 'Em

Sit 'Em

  • Jordan Cameron, CLE (@ Buffalo Bills)
  • Vernon Davis, SF (vs Seattle Seahawks)
  • Heath Miller, PIT (vs New Orleans Saints)
  • Kyle Rudolph, MIN (vs Carolina Panthers)

Sorry about the abridged version this week, but it'll be back to full strength next week.

Please leave any fantasy related questions you might have in the comments section and I'll try to answer as many and as quickly as I can.  It's fun to get everyone's perspectives on this week's matchups floating around down there and I'm always interested to see what kind of decisions different fantasy players have to make.  These are just general ideas for standard leagues, but we can all give and receive advice for unique situations as they come up.  Good luck!
