We will post more information as it becomes available.
[UPDATE: 11/25/14 4:44 PM] Fred Smoot's attorney has released the following statement. (h/t @TheChuckCarroll)
Statement from Fred Smoot's attorney, Jon Huddleston: "We ask for patience in allowing the legal process to play itself out. These are the vindictive actions of a disgruntled ex-girlfriend which arose after Fred broke off their relationship more than a month ago. It is unfortunate that Ms. Jackson has elected to engage in a campaign to defame Fred and ruin him both personally and professionally. We are confident that Fred will be appropriately exonerated."
