Redskins vs 49ers Injury Report; Baker and Reed Ruled Out; Williams and Lauvao Questionable

The Redskins and 49ers have released their final injury reports before Sunday's game. A few Redskins starters have already been ruled out.

The Redskins will be missing at least two starters when they travel West to face the 49ers this weekend.  Defensive lineman Chris Baker was not able to practice all week after suffering an SC Joint sprain last week against the Buccaneers.  Coach Gruden has ruled him out, and said this will lead to more reps for Barry Cofield who returned to the lineup last week.

The other missing starter is Jordan Reed who injured his right hamstring in the 2nd half of the Bucs game.  He was also held out of practice all week.  Gruden did not give any updates on the severity of the strain, but it is not the same hamstring that caused him to miss 4 games earlier this year.  When Logan Paulsen was questionable last week, it was reported that Gruden would keep a 6th WR active.  Paulsen was able to play, so they only suited up 5, but keep an eye on the inactives list at 3:25 PM on SUnday

Another starter that could miss the 49ers is Left Tackle Trent Williams.  He is recovering from an ankle sprain and an MCL sprain.  He was not able to practice all week and reportedly has a noticeable limp.  He was able to play through a dislocated kneecap for most of the year, but these injuries might be enough to keep him sidelined.  Rookie Morgan Moses replaced Williams last Sunday and is looking to get his first start this week.

Starting Left Guard Shawn Lauvao has been limited the last two days after not practicing on Wednesday.  Lauvao is going through the NFL's concussion protocol, and will start if/when he is cleared.  Practicing the last two days is a good sign that he will be able to play on Sunday.  If he isn't cleared, expect Josh LeRibeus to get the start.

The last Redskins player on the injury report is Trent Murphy.  He was a full participant the last two days in practice and has been listed as probable.  Murphy tore the PCL in his knee during the Dallas Cowboys game a month ago, and reportedly aggravated it last week.

The 49ers have two players ruled OUT for Sunday's game.  Anthony Davis will be replaced by Jonathan Martin at Right Tackle, and will be lining up across from Ryan Kerrigan for most of the game.

Glenn Dorsey just returned to the team, but will not be playing this week.  The 49ers Nose Tackle missed practice all week with a forearm injury, and is returning from a torn biceps in August.

CB Tramaine Brock(Hamstring), and WR Bruce Ellington(Ankle) were both held out of practice all week, but are still listed as questionable for Sunday.
