HH Presents: FanPrint Friday

Each Friday during the season, FanPrint will give away one free shirt to a Hogs Haven reader for correctly answering a trivia question!

It's FanPrint Friday!  It's time to answer another trivia question and, thanks to our friends at FanPrint, have a chance to win a free t-shirt.

FanPrint is an awesome new online store where fans can create and buy NFL player t-shirts.  They have a unique agreement with the NFL Players Association, in which 10% of every NFL branded item goes directly to the Gene Upshaw Player Assistance Trust Fund; benefiting former players who need a helping hand.  As they say, by supporting your favorite athletes of today, you are supporting your favorite athletes of yesterday.

So let's get started!

In the NFL today, if a player partakes in a choreographed celebration with a teammate after scoring a touchdown, he will be hit an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and cost his team fifteen yards on the ensuing kickoff.  The reason the league put that penalty in place was because of a group of Redskins receivers and tight ends who played in the 1980's.  That group was called the "The Fun Bunch" and they got their name for their group high-five that would occur after one of them scored a touchdown.  While fans of the team loved it, the league considered it "excessive celebration" and banned it for all teams in 1984.

Your trivia question is this:

There were six Redskins players who were considered to be in "The Fun Bunch".  To qualify to win this week, the first six commenters to name one of the six players will be entered into a drawing. Each commenter can only have one entry and duplicate names will not count.  We will then enter the six commenter's names into a hat and draw the winner!

Good luck to all the contestants this week and remember to check out all the cool gear at FanPrint!
