It's clear that DeSean Jackson is their deep threat, which obviously is no surprise considering that's what he's been throughout his career. Coach says Robert Griffin III "elaborated a little bit too much" in recent comments, "and he’ll learn from it."
A day after Robert Griffin III pointed to his substandard play as a reason the Washington Redskins lost to Tampa Bay, his coach was equally critical of the quarterback's performance, insisting that Griffin needs to play better as he continues to develop.
Williams played just six snaps in the Redskins' 27-7 loss to Tampa Bay on Sunday after spraining the MCL in his right knee and spraining his right ankle.
The Washington Redskins on Monday announced the signing of tackle Michael Huey to their practice squad.
