The Film Don't Lie: Washington Redskins - ESPN
The Redskins haven't been getting the ball enough to receiver Pierre Garcon, which makes you wonder how he factors into their future. And there's never really a good explanation as to why he's not getting more opportunities. It's clear that DeSean Jackson is their deep threat, which obviously is no surprise considering that's what he's been throughout his career. The Redskins also like throwing the ball to Jackson on bubble screens, letting him use his speed to gain yards after the catch. This is an area Garcon excelled at his first two years in Washington.
On Sunday in MetLife Stadium, 49ers linebacker Ahmad Brooks refused to go back into the game against the Giants in the second half because he was unhappy over having to split playing time with Aldon Smith, who had just returned from a suspension.
