As I'm sure we all know, Veteran's Day was this past Tuesday. Most NFL teams honored our military during their games last weekend. Everyone reading this should also know the Redskins had a bye last week. So our team will be honoring veterans during their game against the Buccaneers this weekend. The Skins are joining USAA in a Salute To Service to show appreciation to our vets with a giveaway for those fortunate enough to attend the game. Everyone attending the game will receive a card with stick-on camouflaged eye black. Fans can get in the action and show their support of our military by wearing the eye black, taking a picture, and sharing it with #SaluteToService. It's so easy that even this baby did it:

Whether you are going to Sunday's game or not, please check out USAA's Salute To Service website at www.salutetoservice.com and see what players, coaches, and fans are posting to show their support for our service men and women. The Salute To Service began in 2011 when the NFL teamed up with USAA to honor the ultimate home team; the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. They show their support "by conducting base visits, hosting military at training camps, hosting thousands of military at Salute to Service games, conducting in-stadium card stunts, and enlisting NFL fans to demonstrate their appreciation by participating in the Salute to Service conversation. Fans can offer a "thank you" message to someone who has served by including #SaluteToService in a post" (SaluteToService.com, 2014)
