We're entering a weird time in our weekly injury reports. Thanks in part to the bye week, the Redskins are healthier than their opponent, and all but one player on this week's report was a full participant in practice today. The injury reports this year have been laughably long, and the members of the IR club have been surprisingly consistent. The list finally dropped below double digits with the help of a few season ending injuries a few weeks ago.
This week's lone, limited player is TE Logan Paulsen. He was injured during the Vikings game, but returned to the game. Coach Gruden said they hope to have him available for Sunday's game, but was asked about possibly using Morgan Moses at TE(Tom Compton was getting reps there when he was a backup earlier in the season). Gruden mention other personnel groupings, but didn't rule out Moses practicing there.
Some other interesting developments in this weeks practice report:
- Ryan Clark was a full participant in practice for the first time since injuring his ankles 8 weeks ago.
- Trent Williams does not appear on the injury report for the first time since dislocating his kneecap. He is normally limited for the first day of practice, then full go the rest of the week. In the week leading up to the Vikings game he was limited all week. The bye week was very needed here.
- Tracy Porter does not appear on the injury report for the first time since his first week of pee wee football in 1992. Just an amazing accomplishment here.
- Barry Cofield was activated yesterday, but does not appear on the injury report. Gruden said he's still getting back in to game shape and will be rotated in at NT and DE when he returns. Cofield revealed today that he had groin surgery during his time on IR for an injury he sustained in training camp. Cofield is returning from a high ankle sprain. He also had hernia surgery in the offseason.
- Leonard Hankerson is also returning from rehabbing an injury and doesn't appear on the report. Hankerson ACL surgery happened almost a full year ago, and he could be active this week.

There are a lot of big names on the Buccaneers injury report this week. DT Gerald McCoy sat out of today's practice with a groin injury. He said he expects to play on Sunday, but losing McCoy would be a huge loss for the Bucs defense. Defensive End Michael Johnson was limited today with a hand injury, and CB Alterraun Verner was limited with a hamstring injury.
RB Doug Martin has been dealing with a knee injury, and now an ankle injury that has caused him to miss the last two games. He was not able to practice again today, and there is a good chance he will miss Sunday's game. That leaves the 3 headed monster of Bobby Rainey, Mike James, and rookie Charles Sims. Sims was a draft prospect the Redskins showed a lot of interest in.
QB Josh McCown who returned as the starter last week is listed with a sore back, but was a full participant today. OT Anthony Collins was limited today while dealing with a foot injury.
