Akeem Davis has been brought back for his second stint on the Redskins practice squad after being waived from the active roster on Tuesday. The safeties currently on the active roster include: Ryan Clark, Brandon Meriweather, Jamarca Sanford, and Trenton Robinson. Chase Minnifield is also on the Redskins depth chart as a reserve safety. Davis is a young developing player who has value primarily as an excellent special teams player at this point. Davis is the second safety on the PS in addition to Phillip Thomas. The 10 players on the PS now are as follows:
