Rankled and left feeling moderately disrespected this spring after the DeSean Jackson signing, Roberts soon realized that his feelings were irrelevant in the team's plans and focused on using it as motivation to improve.

Roberts said being a third receiver in Arizona did not necessarily prepare him to be in a similar role here. "The way I was used there is different than how I’m used here," Roberts said. "It’s different. It didn’t prepare me for this situation. I came into this situation with the mindset that I’ll do anything they ask me to do." Plus, he is also returning punts and kickoffs, something he no longer did in Arizona. That is why, Roberts said this summer, "The Redskins brought me here because they want me to make plays on special teams and offense. So it’s a different dynamic."

Reed, who has missed the past four games because of his left hamstring, said there’s a good chance he’ll return for Sunday’s game against Arizona. "Definitely shooting for Sunday," Reed said. "I feel like if I get everything done this week and everything goes smoothly, I’ll be out there Sunday." Reed said he did some extra running after practice. He said his hamstring is tight and "kind of weak" but that it’s getting stronger.
