The Redskins have made several moves over the last two days, and officially announced them today. Yesterday it was reported that the team waived CB Richard Crawford and Akeem Davis, and released TE Ted Bolser from the practice squad. They also promoted OLB Jackson Jeffcoat from the practice squad to the main roster. These moves left 1 spot open on the main roster and two spots open on the practice squad.

Today the team has signed CB Greg Ducre to the main roster, and added LB Steve Beauharnais to the practice squad. This still leaves one practice squad spot open. Ducre went undrafted out of the University of Washington. In his four years there, he recorded 106 tackles, 5.5 TFL, 1 sack, 4 INTs, 16 passes defended and 2 forced fumbles. Ducre was signed by the San Diego Chargers, and was placed on their practice squad at the start of the season.
Steve Beauharnais( 6'1", 240lbs) is an ILB who played collegiately at Rutgers. He was drafted in the 7th round of the 2013 draft by the New England Patriots. He was used primarily on special teams during his time in New England. He was cut this year when the Patriots reduced their roster to 53 players.
Gregory Ducre, DB (5-10 1/4, 183) - Ducre ran the 40-yard dash in 4.34 and 4.32 seconds. He had a 35-inch vertical jump and 10-foot-6 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.00 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.56 seconds. He performed 17 lifts of 225 pounds on the bench press. Ducre had an impressive workout. This is a player who is a mystery man right now, but will have the 25 NFL teams in attendance scattering to dig out game film to check out who this guy is.
