It's FanPrint Friday! Each week during the season, we will throw out a trivia question and then, thanks to our friends at FanPrint, give fans a chance to win a free t-shirt.
FanPrint is an awesome new online store where fans can create and buy NFL player t-shirts.
They have a unique agreement with the NFL Players Association, in which 10% of every NFL branded item goes directly to the Gene Upshaw Player Assistance Trust Fund; benefiting former players who need a helping hand. As they say, by supporting your favorite athletes of today, you are supporting your favorite athletes of yesterday.
So let's get started!
Today's trivia question has to do with great individual receiving performances. The Redskins have had many in their storied history, but several stand out. As an example, the top receiving performance in Redskins history happened in 1987 when Anthony Allen had 255 yards receiving in one game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Your trivia question is this:
Which receivers had the next five top receiving yard performances and how many yards did they have in the game in which they starred? To qualify to win this week, the first five commenters to state one of the five names and the yards receiving the player had in the game will be entered into a drawing. Each commenter can only name one person and repeat names will not qualify. We will then enter the five commenter's names into a hat and draw the winner!
As a bit of housecleaning, we wanted to announce that last week's winner was redskinsfootpaul! Email me your address and the shirt and size of your choice and we'll get your shirt right out to you.
Good luck to all the contestants this week and remember to check out all the cool gear at FanPrint!
