Washington Redskins vs Dallas Cowboys Injury Report

The Redskins and the Cowboys released their injury reports. We're down to a single digit!

Patrick Smith

We're down to 7 players, that's a single digit!  And for the first time in a long time, the Redskins have less players listed on their injury report than the opposing team.  That might have been helped by two players who have been on the injury list since the start of the season being placed on IR.  Akeem Jordan, we barely knew you.  Brian Orakpo, get well soon and we'll see you in March.

Four players were limited in practice today.  Ryan Clark has been nursing two injured ankles, but has played the majority of the snaps at FS the last two weeks.  This week he is listed with ankle and shoulder injuries.

Trent Williams aggravated his knee when he attempted to make a tackle on an interception two weeks ago.  In previous weeks he has taken the first practice day of the week off.  There were no practice reports yesterday, but Trent was limited today, and his knee injury is still a concern, but his leg will have to fall off before he misses a game.

Tracy Porter was super excited today that he was able to practice two days in a row.  Great job Tracy!

Robert Griffin III has practiced for the last two days with the team, and Coach Gruden said he looked the same today as he did yesterday. He is still not medically cleared to play on Monday Night Football against the Cowboys, but he has been cleared for practice.  As of right now Colt McCoy is the starter, but Gruden will not officially announce Griffin's game status until Monday.

Three players made the injury list this week, but were full participants in practice today.  Chris Baker was listed with a thigh injury, Alfred Morris with an ankle injury, and Perry Riley, Jr. with a knee injury.

Perry Riley, Jr. missed the last two games due to a sprained MCL and was replaced by Will Compton, who some people think was an upgrade.  Gruden said that Riley will get the start if he's healthy, but he could still split time with Compton.
