"That kind of got us going there in the second half," McCoy said of his TD pass to Pierre Garçon. He added that his teammates seemed excited for him, perhaps realizing how hard he had worked to get back on the field. "That was the first time I've been in the huddle with them since I've been here," McCoy said of working with the starting offense. Always thoughtful choosing his words, McCoy spoke humbly about the opportunity with the Redskins and repeatedly thanked Bruce Allen and Gruden for the opportunity. McCoy also realizes his time as starter could be short lived. "I'm tight with Kirk and with Rob. We all pull for each other," McCoy said of his fellow quarterbacks. "We're all hoping Rob will get healthy as soon as he can, until then I'm going to do my best."
