Sean McVay will be the Washington Redskins Offensive Coordinator, according to reports

Sources report that Sean McVay will become the new Offensive Coordinator under new Head Coach Jay Gruden. He will take over the offense after Kyle Shanahan.

Sean McVay has been named the Offensive Coordinator for the Redskins under new Head Coach Jay Gruden.

Reports of Sean McVay being named the offensive coordinator came out after Gruden was hired, but the news is now confirmed. McVay was hired as the Tight Ends Coach February 16, 2011. McVay is a young choice for an Offensive Coordinator at the age of 27. Head Coach Jay Gruden previously stated that he plans on calling the offensive plays.
