Washington Redskins Draft Profiles: Charles Sims (RB)

Hogs Haven takes a look at versatile West Virginia running back, Charles Sims.

Charles Sims

Running Back

Height: 6'0" Weight: 214 lbs

West Virginia

Strengths: Sims is a wonderful receiver out of the backfield, possessing the ability to catch screens, swings and he can go deep. Follows and cuts off of his blocks well, showing good vision in the hole. Should be a versatile weapon in the NFL.

Weaknesses: Doesn't have the kind of blazing speed to walk away from defensive backs in the open field.

Bottom Line: Sims is a jack-of-all-trades running back. He runs. He catches. He blocks. He may even feed the homeless, I'm not sure. He led West Virginia in catches in 2013, and for any team looking to have a running back to throw to, he won't disappoint.

Projected Round: 4

Team He Fits Best On: Jets, Redskins and Giants.
