Kyle Van Noy
Outside Linebacker (4-3 or 3-4)
Height: feet 6’3", Weight: 243 lbs
BYU
Strengths: In his senior season, Van Noy recorded 67 tackles (41 solo and 17 TFL), 4 sacks, 2 interceptions, and 7 passes defended. He is an instinctive linebacker that can generate pressure on quarterbacks. His ability to see the football and his overall play recognition make him one of the better prospect linebackers in the 2014 draft.
Weaknesses: Van Noy had a step back his senior season after his spectacular junior season. His overall athleticism is average and his production took a major step back without former teammate Ziggy Ansah. He also had some injury issues his senior season.
Bottom Line: Van Noy is the kind of linebacker that can do everything well, while not being great at any one particular thing. Van Noy, while a good football player, is more of a good piece then a playmaker. If you already have a stout defensive line and need a linebacker that is good, Van Noy is a great choice.
Projected round: 1-2
Team he fits best on: Bucs, Cowboys, Bears, Falcons, ant Titans
