Career Summary: Devery Henderson was a wide receiver for LSU and even won and ESPY for catching the "Bluegrass Miracle" pass that defeated Kentucky. Henderson has been a part of an elite wide receiver corps with the New Orleans Saints during his first eight years in the NFL. Henderson was a great deep threat for Drew Brees during his career. Henderson even caught the touchdown pass from Brees that broke Jonny Unitas’s record of 47 straight games with a touchdown pass. Henderson has always been a big play threat in his career.

What is coming in 2013: Henderson will have to compete with the other talented group of receivers on the roster. Henderson primarily serves as a great deep threat option, but Aldric Robinson had impressive 2012 season and has had an impressive training camp this season. Henderson may make the Redskins roster depending on how many receivers are kept on the team. Henderson is currently behind Santana Moss and Donte Stallworth (the third string receivers), so he will likely need an impressive camp to make the team even if the Redskins keep 6 receivers.
