Career Summary: Quan Sturdivant was a honorary all American linebacker the North Carolina. He was one of the ACC’s top linebackers before he suffered a hamstring injury during the 2010 season. Sturdivant was drafted by the Cardinals in 2011 and was only a practice squad member. He was released in 2012 and then played with the USFL’s Sacramento Mountain Lions before signing with the Chiefts during the 2012 season.

What is coming in 2013: The Redskins are having some issues with middle linebacker depth with the season ending injury to Keenan Robinson. Sturdivant has a chance to make the roster with the depth problems and because of his upside as a player. He is most likely not ready to be on the roster at the beginning of the year, but he could be a strong practice squad candidate if he is eligible. If he can get some snaps in weeks 3 and 4 of the preseason, he can have a chance to impress the coaches.
