Robert Griffin III report - NFL Nation Blog - ESPN
And then Griffin’s dad gets back into the mix. One reason this story has remained alive is the occasional quotes from his dad that certainly seem to question the coaching staff. Like this one from the latest issue of GQ Magazine: "I will not tell Coach Shanahan how to do any part of his job," he says, "because he’s been doing this for a long time." But: "You tell a kid that you want him to be there for fourteen years, guess what? Historical data will tell you that the more he runs, the more subject he is to career injury," the elder Griffin said. "You name one quarterback out there that would rather run the football than throw the football and I’ll show you a loser."

Now it appears McNabb finds Griffin's move to turn him down a foolish one, and the former Eagles QB thinks the younger Griffin may be a victim of brainwash. Seriously, Donovan McNabb suggested RG3 might be brainwashed by Redskins brass. "It's a shame," McNabb said on his radio show McNabb and Malone, speaking of RG3's reluctance to schedule a meeting. "Over there in Washington, [Griffin's] getting brainwashed. "

Running back Alfred Morris continues to have a quiet camp, but the qualities that made him good last season remain visible: the body lean, the lowering of the shoulder pads, the quick cuts. I’m curious to see him in a game (regular season mostly) just to see how different he is as a runner.

RG3's candor appreciated, but Mike Shanahan's approach is best - Washington Times
Dear RG3, we like it that you say what's on your mind and you do so diplomatically. You aren't a clod about it. Please don't lose that trait. Just cool it for the rest of this preseason.
