What is coming in 2013: Vic So'oto will compete for snaps at the outside linebacker position during training camp and during the preseason games. He has some NFL experience after playing with the Green Bay Packers and Oakland Raiders. So’oto played as a special teams player with both teams. So’oto will likely get some playing time during training camp and during the preseason games, but he will likely be on the practice squad next season or not be on the roster at all. So’oto could possibly make the team if Brandon Jenkins is not able to play at the beginning of the season, but it seems like Jenkins will be ready to play. Once Rob Jackson comes back from his four game suspension, So’oto will very likely be out of a roster spot. However, outside linebacker depth could be an important issue after the 2013 season with Brian Orakpo and Rob Jackson possibly being free agents. If So'oto impresses during training camp, he could be on the practice squad and be a part of the Redskins' gameplan in 2014.
