What is coming in 2013: Jeremy Kimbrough was a three-year starter at Appalachian State and he has a great football IQ. He breaks down plays well, takes good angles in tackles, shows quickness, and plays all around smart football. Kimbrough lacks the burst and size to be a great middle linebacker on the NFL level, but he could be a productive special teams player and a solid back-up middle linebacker in a 3-4 defense. I do not think Kimbrough will make the 2013 roster, but he could be on the practice squad and be given a year to develop. We will need a lot of middle linebackers after London Fletcher leaves, and Jeremy Kimbrough could be a good replacement for Lorenzo Alexander someday.
