What is coming in 2013: Now this is an undrafted free agent player that has many people talking. And by people, I think I mostly mean me. While Burdette has not seen significant playing time, he did impress during OTAs. When looking at his film, he does not quit on plays and some, including Rich Tandler, thinks he can squeak onto the roster. After watching his play at the Casino Del Sol All-Star Game, I was very impressed. He has great football instincts, he follows the ball well because of good vision, wraps up on his tackles, and even seems to be a good run stopper. He seems to be a natural at the Middle Linebacker Position. Marvin Burdette may be a small school player, but so were so many great linebackers. One of those great linebackers is the heart and soul of the Redskins defense. We will need a replacement for London Fletcher in the near future and if one of the higher drafted is to take London’s place, depth will still be needed at the position. Take a look below at Burdette's performance in the All-Star game to get a sneak peak at the newest Redskin.
