Carriker, who will start camp on the PUP list, explains the recent news of his third surgery on his podcast, but here's the jist of it:
"This is not a step back, it is a step forward. It is a step in the right direction.""It's going to allow me to start rehabbing. It's going to allow me to start getting strong, more mobility back in that leg, get my explosiveness back and play football again."
I don't know the timetable. It depends on what they find. What I do know is I will be back at some point. There's no doubt in mind...not a shadow of doubt...and I cannot wait.
"From what I understand you can go to meetings, you can workout, you can go to rehab," he said. "I'm going to be doing everything I can. I know the defense, but I'm going to be up on the schemes, whatever they're changing. I'm going to be watching the film, helping the young guys, talking to the veterans, keeping in touch with them, because that chemistry is key."
Get well soon, Adam. Skins Nation is pulling for you.
