Back in 1980 the Redskins didn't have an elaborate draft day party or press conference to announce their top draft picks. So, Art Monk was introduced to Redskins fans by a close-talking George Michael with a very odd looking microphone. My favorite part of the interview is when Monk says his Mom didn't want him to go to Maryland so he would stay out of trouble. Laughable, Art Monk getting in trouble, he may have been the most straight-laced player the NFL ever saw. I miss George Michael.
