The Redskins are one of nine teams that will begin rookie minicamps on Friday, a three-day orientation period to allow drafted and undrafted players to get acclimated to their new surroundings.
It also serves as an early opportunity for players to show their new coaches what they can offer.
The Redskins can carry up to 90 players at this point of the season, and there are currently 78 on the active roster. With seven spots accounted for draft picks, that means there are five remaining for undrafted free agents and tryout invitees to vie for.
Per the CBA, the three-day rookie camp is non-contact.
Notable UDFAs include UAB linebacker Marvin Burdette, Troy wide receiver Chip Reeves and Utah center Tevita Stevens. For the entire list of Redskins UDFAs and tryout invitees, click here.
