2013 NFL Draft: Lavar Arrington Will Announce Redskins Draft Pick

Lavar Arrington will announce either the Redskins second or third round pick during the 2013 NFL draft's second day.

Each team will have one former player announce a draft pick in the second or third rounds on April 27, and on Wednesday, the NFL announced who will represent each team.

The Redskins’ representative will be LaVar Arrington, who played six seasons with the team, and was drafted No. 2 overall in the 2000 draft. The end of Arrington’s short career was blemished with injury and clashes with his coaching staff, but he was an undeniable difference maker when he saw the field. Perhaps the best example of this is his 2002 season, where he racked up 92 tackles,11 sacks and four forced fumbles.

Other guests at the draft will include Tony Casillas of the Dallas Cowboys, Rich Seubert of the New York Giants and former Redskins linebacker Jeremiah Trotter will represent the Philadelphia Eagles, a team he spent eight seasons with.

Other former Redskins that will represent other teams are LarryCenters of the Arizona Cardinals, Deion Sanders of the Atlanta Falcons and Mark Brunell of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
