Redskins 2013 NFL Mock Draft

Latest 2013 Mock Draft for the Redskins

Joe Robbins

Hey guys here is my latest 2013 NFL Mock Draft for the Washington Redskins. This was written before much of the Combine was over though so keep that in mind. Let me know your thoughts!

2nd Round S Jonathan Cyprien, Florida International:

-He could go higher, but I think he ends up in about this range. I think he's a great fit and should be a day one starter. He's got excellent ball skills and potential.

3rd Round S Tony Jefferson, Oklahoma:

-Jefferson has slipped some, but he's another very talented safety who should be capable of starting for the Redskins. He might not be perfect early on, but def. a passable starter. Down the road he should develop into a top notch guy.

4th Round OT Terron Armstead, Arkansas Pine-Bluff:

-Really loved what I saw from Armstead at the East-West Shrine game, and believe he can develop into a really good starter in this league. He even has LT abilities, but should look quite well at RT for the Skins. He may not be a day one starter, but should compete for the job.

5th Round RB Kerwynn Williams, Nevada:

-Williams is a good change of pace back who could really excel in the read option. He's helps in different ways than Morris, and can help on Special Teams.

5th Round DE Devin Taylor, South Carolina:

-Taylor has a great frame and could add some weight to be a 5-tech pass rusher. Not sure if he'd fit as an every down player, but I think he's comparable to Pernell McPhee (though maybe not the same motor).

6th Round CB Brandon McGee, Miami:

-McGee is one of my favorite later round corners. He has good speed, instincts and ball skills. He was inconsistent some in college, but has starting potential.

7th Round P Jeff Locke, UCLA:

-Great late round value for the Skins, I'd prefer if they had some extra draft picks to take a punter, but I think this is basically a must have.
