XFINITY is once again hosting the Ultimate Sports Social Media Job contest, in search of a dynamic individual to become the new voice of @XFINITYSports. Interested applicants can enter now through February 18 at www.facebook.com/xfinity.
Ten semifinalists will be invited to compete at XFINITY Live! in Philadelphia, PA on March 23rd. The top 8 submissions will automatically move on to the semifinals with the remaining 2 spots to be given to the winner of the Wild Card voting. Ten Wild Card contestants will be announced on March 4, giving fans the chance to vote for their favorite contestant at Facebook.com/xfinity! The two Wild Card contestants the fans select as the best new voice of XFINITY Sports will join the other semifinalists in the next round of competition.
The semifinals, hosted at XFINTY Live!, will give each contestant the chance to show off their social media skills by participating in a series of challenges designed to push them to the limit! Joins us at XFINITY Live! to cheer on your favorite contestant, enjoy free food, meet prominent Philadelphia talent, and watch March Madness.
Only five finalists will receive the opportunity to travel to a MLB Opening Weekend game to participate in the final challenge. Each finalist will be given VIP access to select MLB batting practices, press boxes and more to get a chance showcase their experience and knowledge via Twitter, while also supporting XFINTIY products and brand messaging. In the end, one contestant will be named the next voice of XFINITY Sports!
