Redskins Snap Count Totals vs Bengals: Week 3

A look at the snap count totals for the Redskins 38-31 loss to the Bengals at Fedex Field.

Dale Zanine-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

It's always interesting seeing the snap totals week in and week out. A couple things that stand out vs the Bengals, and of course, it's hard to tell what is doghouse and what is Shanahan just doing schematic mismatches:

  • DOWN: Niles Paul went from 26% of plays vs Saints, 35% of the plays vs Rams....to 16% (12 plays) vs Cincy.
  • UP: Brandon Banks was on offense 1 play vs Rams, 18 vs Bengals.
  • UP: Leonard Hankerson saw a big increase: 51% of plays (32) vs Rams, 78% (59) vs Bengals.
  • On defense, Chris Baker saw his first action taking some time from Cofield (not much).

The Redskins Offense had 76 total plays.
