Redskins Make Two Roster Additions

The Redskins reach back into their training camp roster to fill a void.

Geoff Burke-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

The Redskins have made two roster moves today, one involving the active 53 man roster and the other affecting the practice squad. Crezdon Butler was waived due to injury after joining the team a couple of weeks ago. To replace Butler the Redskins re-signed cornerback David Jones, who spent the preseason with the team. Jones is a fifth round pick out of Wingate who has seen the field playing for the Bengals and Jaguars over the past five years.

On the practice squad, rookie nose tackle Delvin Johnson was waived again. Johnson is being replaced by 6'4, 324 lbs rookie Chigbo Anunoby. Anunoby played his college ball at Morehouse College and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Colts this offseason.
